FUNctional Fitness BYOB - 6 Week Series

May 16 - June 20 (6 Weeks)

This active and playful class is for mamas to enjoy moving their bodies in a supportive, baby-welcoming environment. The movement component incorporates Yoga, Pilates, and Barre to stretch and strengthen your physical body with low-impact cardio, light-weight training, and deep stretching. All exercises are DR-safe, and modifications will be offered to meet varying fitness levels.

 

Babies can be worn, held, nursed, fed, or placed in a car seat or stroller. We will go with the flow and embrace all that arises in our time together. At the end of the series, you will have experience and tools to incorporate movement practices in your daily life.

Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm

Must be at minimum 10 weeks post partum to participate with clearance from medical doctor. This is a group exercise class, if concerned about pelvic floor and core strength for movement - and specifics for you and your body - please schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Emily for a full pelvic floor assessment.

Meet Your Instructor:

Rebecca Whit is a certified yoga instructor with 500+ hours of training and education and is a certified Barre Intensity Instructor. She has been teaching yoga, movement, and meditation for over 13 years in the Jersey Shore community. Her classes focus on the connection between the body, mind, and breath to teach students how to move with awareness to develop a dynamic and safe practice.
