Postnatal Yoga

Mondays at 10:30 am

4/8, 4/15, 4/22 & 4/29

Postpartum and Baby yoga is  designed to support postpartum recovery and the transition into motherhood.  

This style of class will offer poses that build strength and promote recovery, breathing practices to help ground, and mindful meditation to support healing, relaxation, and connection. Mothers can bring their babies for an experience that incorporates yoga and bonding with the baby.

We will practice baby massage techniques as well as some gentle baby yoga poses and stretches.

Class ends with some free play and time to chat and connect with each other while our littles play or snooze.  Postnatal and Baby Yoga classes are appropriate for women from about four to six weeks (after doctor’s approval) postpartum up until about six months, or when the baby begins to crawl.

Mondays at EmBodied Physical Therapy in Point Pleasant : 10:30 AM

Must be at minimum 6-8 weeks post partum to participate with clearance from medical doctor. This is a group exercise class, if concerned about pelvic floor and core strength for movement - and specifics for you and your body - please schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Emily for a full pelvic floor assessment.
