3-week series (each session is 1 hour)
Mondays: May 6, 13, 20 2pm
Let’s play en español! Meet with Kim Guccione to learn strategies for intentionally exposing your infant to a second language. During this 3-week series, Kim will:
explain second-language acquisition theory and current research that supports exposing your baby to a language other than English
teach you language instruction strategies to infuse in your daily life to systematically expose your infant to a second language
provide you with mini-lessons in Spanish to expose your little (and you!) to basic Spanish vocabulary and rhymes/songs
Babies (pre-crawlers) are welcome to join the attending parent and participate in the learning fun. Participants will receive access to electronic copies of all information presented as well as printable materials for all mini-lessons.
Meet Your Instructor:
Kim Guccione is an experienced educator who has taught language to students of all ages for over a decade in NJ public schools as well as private institutions abroad. Kim’s credentials include NJ Teaching Certifications in English as a Second Language (ESL) and K-6 General Education. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and is proud that her toddler daughter is also learning both. Kim is beyond excited to share the gift of language with you and your little!
